Belfast Design Week: CreativeMornings
A morning discussion on the theme of ‘Radical’ with Rick Monro, Principal UX Designer at Puppet.
CreativeMornings is a free monthly breakfast lecture series designed for creative communities. Founded in Brooklyn NY, in 2008 there are now chapters in over 200 cities across 70 countries around the world.
As part of Design Week, John Cranney, host of our own CreativeMornings Belfast chapter will be facilitating a talk from Principal UX Designer at Puppet, Rick Monro who will be telling his story based on the theme of ‘Radical’.
Rick is Principal UX Designer at Puppet, shaping specialist products used globally by 75 of the Fortune 100 companies, including NASA, Sony, Salesforce, and Disney. With over 25 years’ experience in design, the last 12 have involved leading and managing design teams and working as a consultant to organisations, from startups to enterprises, across the UK & Ireland. His current role addresses product experience across a full gamut of interfaces and touchpoints. Rick is also the organiser of the UX Belfast meetup, a STEM ambassador, and a regular event speaker.
