Giving back a little this Christmas

2020 was undoubtedly a year like none other.

For many, it’s most likely a year we won’t care to remember but for our extended team at Big Motive, we were grateful to record some marked highlights, positivity and progress. We worked on some fantastic projects with a cast of incredible clients. We made new friends, continued to learn, expanded our team and our work was recognised at industry awards.

The pandemic wreaked havoc across businesses large and small. The hospitality sector for one was rocked to its very core and because of this, we wanted to do something small to help.

So this year, as a way to show appreciation to our clients and partners, we joined forces with a ‘Christmas Dinner Project’, partnering with a number of local businesses and charities to cook hundreds of Christmas dinners for vulnerable families, living beneath the poverty threshold in Belfast.

We purchased 100 meals from the incredible team at Freight restaurant to contribute to this great effort but also to show our appreciation of the amazing work Freight has been doing throughout the year – donating food and resources to support local charities like Women’s Refuge and Food Banks across Belfast.

Needless to say, 2020 has been challenging for so many, so with this initiative, we say a heartfelt thank you to each one of our friends, clients and partners for your continued support throughout this year.

And a special thank you to the inspirational team at Freight restaurant along with the ‘Forward South Partnership’ for making the Christmas Dinner Project a reality.

From everyone at Big Motive… we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and an abundance of hope, health and happiness for the year ahead.
